Lee Sun Bin made a surprise guest appearance in the ongoing K-drama The Heavenly Idol on March 1, and tvN has since released still cuts of the scene.The sixth episode of the Korean drama will feature Lee Sun Bin. Working closely with Kim Min Gue's idol persona Woo Yeon Woo, she will play the part of an acting coach. With Woo Yeon Woo by her side, she will receive private acting instruction.
The acting classes will be difficult for Woo Yeon Woo, and the character played by Lee Sun Bin will be taken aback by how unusual her new pupil is.
The Heavenly Idol chronicles the rise to idol status in Korea of a strong godly minister who did it unknowingly. In addition to Kim Min Gue, other actors in the K-drama include Go Bo Gyeol, Lee Jang Woo, Ye Ji Won, Tak Jae Hoon, and Park Sang Nam.
In a statement, the series' production team said: "In this episode, Lee Sun Bin delivers yet another standout performance as a comedy actress. The persona played by Kim Min Gue will start training in order to make their acting debut. Hopefully you'll enjoy Kim Min Gue and Lee Sun Bin's comedic performance in the forthcoming episode."
Around 10:30 PM KST on every Wednesday and Thursday, The Heavenly Idol is shown. Tonight is the airing of the fifth episode starring Lee Sun Bin. The K-drama is available to watch on tvN, TVING, and Viki.
For the year 2023, Lee Sun Bin will begin production on this K-drama. Her most recent TVING appearance was in Season 2 of the show Work Later, Drink Now. Following this special appearance, she will appear in the upcoming K-dramas Super Couple and Mission 2: Possible.
In the upcoming film CSAT: Mystery of Test Questions, Yoo Jae Myung and Lee Sun Bin will both play leading roles.
