Taking place in a bleak environment, Black Knight is a sci-fi action adventure.It is the year 2071. Furthermore, the condition on Earth is beyond hopeless. Only 1% of the population is now able to survive in the wasteland that toxic air pollution has turned into. The civilization is governed by a few elites, and Chunmyeong Group is among them who wield power and dominate the new globe.
Deliveries made by deliverymen known as "knights" that provide essentials are the only means by which people are able to survive.
The character of 5-8, played by Kim Woo Bin, is that of a renowned knight and accomplished combatant. He comes into an immigrant who aspires to be a knight. The powerful Chunmyeong Gang is then faced by them all.
The dystopian world's harsh conditions are depicted in the primary poster, which features a deserted landscape, demolished buildings in the backdrop, a face mask, and a knight holding a package in his hand.
The first image of the drama's Kim Woo Bin was also made public in January. In one still shot, he is wearing a mask, while in another, he is dressed as a soldier and is shown standing on a vehicle.
Along with Kim Woo Bin, other actors who appear in Black Knight include Esom as Seol Ah, a military intelligence officer, Kang Yoo Seok as April, a refugee, and Song Seung Heon as Ryu Seok, the sole heir to the Chunmyeong Group.
On Lee Yoon Kyun's webcomic Taekbaegisa, the science fiction drama is based. The storyline and direction of Black Knight are ascribed to Cho Ui Seok.
The K-drama is expected to be published in the second quarter of 2023. Netflix will stream it.
