New Time Slip K-Drama Unites Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon in Collaboration poster tvN's latest announcement on July 19th confirms the production of a time slip romantic comedy K-drama titled "Carry Sun Jae And Run," with the dynamic duo Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon set to lead the series.

The much-anticipated drama "Carry Sun Jae and Run" is the collaborative effort of director Boo Sung Chul (known for works like "The Heirs," "My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho," and "You're Beautiful") and screenwriter Lee Shi Eun (who previously worked on "True Beauty").

This upcoming K-drama delves into the heartwarming romance between a renowned top star, Ryu Seon Jae, whose life ended tragically, and Lim Sol, a devoted fan who embarks on a journey through time to the year 2008, determined to save him. The series is based on Kim Bang's captivating web novel, which shares the same name.

Portraying the character of Ryu Seon Jae, Byeon Woo Seok embodies the nation's beloved top star, who grows disillusioned with the entertainment industry and decides to change his public image.

On the other hand, Kim Hye Yoon plays the role of Lim Sol, an ordinary individual who unexpectedly becomes a devoted fan of Ryu Seon Jae after finding solace in one of his songs on the radio. Fueled by her newfound fandom, she resolves to travel back in time to 2008 to prevent Ryu Seon Jae's untimely demise.

"Carry Sun Jae and Run" is scheduled to grace the screens of tvN as part of their Monday and Tuesday K-drama lineup, though the specific broadcast date remains undisclosed for now.
