"New Stills from 'Arthdal Chronicles' Show Lee Joon Gi as a Brave Fighter on the Battlefield" poster Lee Joon Gi seems to be standing at the brink of mastering the art of depicting dual characters as evidenced by his performance in Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon.

In the upcoming weekend drama on tvN, titled Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon, the narrative voyages into the mythical realm of Arth, where the destiny of its denizens is molded by the possessor of the sword.

The storyline narrates the interconnected fates of Ta Gon (Jang Dong Gun), Eun Seom (Lee Joon Gi), Tan Ya (Shin Se Kyung), and Tae Al Ha (Kim Ok Bin).

Lee Joon Gi undertakes the role of indistinguishable twins, Eun Seom and Sa Ya. Sa Ya, now a commander and the adopted child of Ta Gon (Jang Dong Gun), while Eun Seom has evolved into the leader of the Ago tribe, responsible for uniting thirty different clans.

Sa Ya's appearance reflects the impact of years spent on the battlefield, carving out a seasoned demeanor that sets him apart from his past. His countenance communicates more than just enmity for his foes; it also holds a deep undercurrent of disquiet stemming from the flow of time.

Might the much-anticipated moment of Eun Seom and Sa Ya's encounter finally grace our presence?

Lee Joon Gi, who embodies the roles of Eunseom and Sa Ya, shares his fascination, saying, "As an actor, I'm deeply intrigued by the chance to portray the intricate emotions and different personas of Eun Seom and Sa Ya, two siblings whose lives have taken divergent paths. This fascination drove me to accept the challenge, fueled by my curiosity to explore uncharted territories after a prolonged period." His decision to join the cast of Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon is rooted in this artistic inquisitiveness.

Delving into the preparatory process, Lee Joon Gi elaborates, "Considering the eight-year time jump, I was fully dedicated to consistently deducing and envisioning the life journeys of these two characters. It was crucial for me to bridge this gap."

He further conveys, "I hold hope that the collaborative endeavors of the director, crew, and fellow cast members, who have spent considerable time brainstorming together, will culminate in a gratifying outcome." He also treasures the moments spent with everyone involved in this journey.

International audiences can anticipate the debut of Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramoon on Disney+ on September 9th.
